You send a quick request with the stay dates and pack count, then choose a service window for drop-off and pickup. We take it from there: delivery, retrieval, clean, and reset.
-
Our standard service window is 4–8 pm for both drop-off and pickup. Founding Host Circle hosts receive extended weekend coverage (8 am–8 pm).
-
No. Packs are managed by Desert Foothills Co and delivered per request. Hosts don’t store inventory, manage cleaning, or track gear between stays. It’s an optional paid add-on you can offer with no extra work.
-
Each pack is a premium Osprey daypack thoughtfully curated for South Mountain. We provide hydration, safety essentials, plus a few experience-forward items that make a self-guided hike feel more prepared and intentional. Exact contents are standardized and shared with hosts as a reference. Guests also receive simple South Mountain route notes for popular, publicly accessible trails. Guests should always check current conditions, follow posted signage, and make the final call on trail.
-
Every rental goes through a consistent turnover: retrieve → clean → inspect → reset. Hydration components are replaced regularly, and the system is sealed and logged after QA so you can confidently offer it to guests.
-
We keep it simple. Terms are clearly defined during onboarding, and we’ll walk each host through how issues are handled before the first rental.

Apply using this short form and we’ll follow up with next steps. The Founding Host Circle is intentionally small so we can deliver a high-standard, dependable experience from day one.
